Terrebonne Po'Boys Menu

Design Brief
To create a brand identity for a local restaurant of our choice. I chose a small diner in my hometown of Lawrence, KS. Terrebonne Po Boys, is a Southern Creole-inspired diner that is described as earthy and vintage.

Inspiration
My goal was to identify, capture, and understand the brand strategy, translating its visual language into the menu design. The process began with visiting the physical location, where I observed key features and linked them to the brand's new identity. These elements included framed cross-stitching artwork, southern-style furniture, checkered table mat, and a bayou-inspired atmosphere with exotic plants. Once I understood their visual language, I selected a bold sans-serif typeface and a duotone color palette that complemented their interior look. The final deliverables included a double sided, 18x12-inch menu board, business cards, t-shirts, and to-go bags.
